Nicole lives in Durango, Colorado, but prior to her move there, she lived in Denver for almost 15 years. As a resident of Washington Park and former PTSA president of Lincoln Elementary, she became acquainted with the work of A Little Help, where her family volunteered for the organization. Helping older members in her community has been an important part of Nicole’s life as a volunteer and now as Grant Manager with A Little Help. Nicole is Vice President of the League of Women Voters of La Plata County, an election judge, an avid reader, and a lover of the outdoors. When not at work in her community you’ll find her planning her next travel adventure. Nicole has a B.A. in Mass Communications from Fort Lewis College and M.A. in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
We are incredibly grateful for Nicole's work to help ALH compete for grants to bolster our work serving older adults across Colorado.
